Crushes and Love
There he stood across the room.. and I froze. time stood still for me. It was him, all rite
with the laughing eyes, the slightly crooked smile, handsome as ever and it just reminded
me of how much i had missed him from the last time I saw him.
he was wearing a tee, as he does most of the time. he was stunned at first, then surprised and
then there was a wide smile, a 1000 watt smile designed to make u weak at your knees, set butterflies in ur stomach, makin u forget the
entire world around u, a smile which lights up a 1000 candles in the darkness of the night. a smile which
makes u forget all ur woes and makes the moment worth living for. The light in his eyes drove away all the darkness in my life.
is this what fairy tale stuff is made of.. i pondered.. a smile across a crowded room, a smile
radiating warmth, a look that promises you a lifetime of happiness, which ensures u of things you do not
dare to dream, a
smile which screams out u r mine and only mine, today and for all our shared tomorrows, now and forever, for
better or worse. a look which tells you no matter what happens tomorrow, ill always be there for you
today. a gaze which u wanna lock in your heart forever and never ever let it go. it was all of that
and more. sometimes in life, there is a single moment u want to take a picture of and cherish it forever. this was one of them.
There was something about the way he talked that suggested concern. Something about the way he listened that suggested understanding. Was i so dazzled by his charms, that I had started imagining things?
there was no future for me with him, but its one of those things which seems bigger than oneself.
something which is beyond us, a compelling force which you cannot stop, no matter what. an attraction that defies all laws.
Is this a crush fated to crush you or is this the beginning of love??
